Potato Chip Chicken is so Simple and Delicious!

This recipe is one of my family's favorites! My twins love to take turns crushing the chips. This is very easy to make-you can prep it in the morning and just pop it in the oven when dinner rolls around! Serve with a salad or steamed veggie and you are ready to eat!

Ingredients

Chicken breasts (as many as you need to feed your family)

1 stick butter or parve margarine

Regular (not flavored) potato chips

*If you desire, you can pound the chicken breasts flat so they will cook faster.

Line a baking sheet with foil and spray some non-stick cooking spray onto it.

In a plastic bag, pour half of a bag of potato chips. Seal and crush by hand or with a rolling pin until the chips are fine. Pour onto a plate.

In the microwave, melt butter/margarine until it is liquid. Let cool for a few minutes.

Dip the breasts into the chips, then the margarine, then the chips again. Place on the baking sheet and cook at 350 for half an hour or more, depending on the thickness of the chips.

For added flavor, you can add Durkee onion rings to the chip mixture.

  1. I think I'd like to try it with the onion rings. My daughter at four is still picky about what she eats. Loves chicken, but who knows? Will try it, and thanks!

  2. Yum, you had me with potato chip. Can't wait to try this. Onion rings like Alyssa says above is probably good too! Making me hungry! Not good, it is bed time!
