Skillet Lasagne in a Jiffy

My friend Susan gave me this recipe.  Quick, easy, and oh so delicious!

Skillet Lasagne

Lasagne noodles broken into quarters (about 1/2 box)

28 ounce jar of your favorite pasta sauce

Fresh garlic

Ricotta cheese

Mozzarella cheese

Take the jar of pasta sauce, add 3 cups water - boil in a deep skillet. Then breakup 8 oz lasagna noodles (half a box)into it,in quarters. Cover and simmer 16-18 mins. Add pressed garlic (to your taste), then add scoops of ricotta (1 cup total) to it, as much mozzarella cheese as you'd like, and cover for 3 mins till melted.

  1. Sounds so easy I might be able to manage it myself!

  2. I hate to admit it, but I'm 50 and I've never once made lasagna! Of course, I'd probably eat the whole pan... This sounds delicious, but, knowing me, I won't start cooking now. Doesn't Stouffer's make one of these? :)
