My friend Susan gave me this recipe. Quick, easy, and oh so delicious!
Skillet Lasagne
Lasagne noodles broken into quarters (about 1/2 box)
28 ounce jar of your favorite pasta sauce
Fresh garlic
Ricotta cheese
Mozzarella cheese
Take the jar of pasta sauce, add 3 cups water - boil in a deep skillet. Then breakup 8 oz lasagna noodles (half a box)into it,in quarters. Cover and simmer 16-18 mins. Add pressed garlic (to your taste), then add scoops of ricotta (1 cup total) to it, as much mozzarella cheese as you'd like, and cover for 3 mins till melted.

Sounds so easy I might be able to manage it myself!
ReplyDeleteI hate to admit it, but I'm 50 and I've never once made lasagna! Of course, I'd probably eat the whole pan... This sounds delicious, but, knowing me, I won't start cooking now. Doesn't Stouffer's make one of these? :)
